Ryan Hetrick

Ryan Hetrick is a Partner at Antus, Hetrick & Smith LLP in Midland, Texas.
 
Raised in an Army family, Ryan has lived in five different states and England and
attended high school in San Antonio, Texas. He went on to earn bachelor degrees in Economics and International Politics from Penn State University. After graduating, Ryan worked for a commercial real estate company in Baltimore, but ultimately decided to return to San Antonio and pursue a law degree at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Upon passing the Texas Bar Exam in 2011, Ryan and his wife relocated to Midland, where he began his legal career. Five years later, he became Board-Certified in Oil, Gas & Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He joined this firm in 2017 as a Senior Associate and was named Partner in 2022.
 
Ryan currently resides in Midland with his wife and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and can often be found attending his children’s extracurricular activities including ballet at Midland Festival Ballet and karate at Matthew’s Martial Arts. Ryan also enjoys following Penn State football, hitting his ride goals on his Peloton, and trying to complete his multiple DIY projects.
