Christopher Antus

Christopher Antus is a founding partner of Antus, Hetrick & Smith LLP in Midland, Texas.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Christopher lived in Arkansas for four years during his adulthood, where he gained valuable experience during the Fayetteville Shale boom. He later practiced in South Texas during the Eagle Ford Shale boom, representing a wide range of clients in the energy sector. In 2013, Christopher relocated to Midland, where he founded the firm in 2015, focusing on providing expert legal counsel to clients in the oil and gas industry.

With extensive experience representing oil and gas producers, from small and mid-sized independents to Fortune 500 companies, Christopher’s practice centers on oil and gas title and operational issues. He is deeply involved in both pre- and post-production matters, delivering proactive and tailored solutions for his clients’ most complex legal challenges.

Outside of his legal practice, Christopher enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is also an avid drummer, a dog lover, a devoted supporter of Chelsea Football Club, and a fitness enthusiast who can often be found at the gym.
